Coolpad has unveiled its premium smartphone, Cool S1 in MWC 2017 in Barcelona. This phone was launched in China in the month of December last year.
The Cool S1 comes in three variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB of storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage in price range of 2499 to 3199 Yuan. The internal storage cannot be expanded further.
This phone has metal body and sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display. It is powered by Snapdragon 821, 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 2.35GHz with the Adreno 530 GPU.
This phone is equipped with 16 MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with dual-LED flash, PDAF, EIS, BSI, and 4K recording capability. It is mounted with an 8 MP front camera for selfies. It incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back behind the rear camera module.
This phone is packed with massive 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. This phone runs on LeEco’s EUI 5.8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
One of the USP of this phone is that it comes with two front-facing speakers with Harman Kardon audio enhancing technology. This handset also comes with a USB Type-C headset.
On the connectivity front, this phone offes options of 4G, WiFi, Dual SIM support, Bluetooth, OTG, and USB Type-C support.
Coolpad has not revealed when this phone will be launched in Global markets including India.
