Coolpad of China had launched two devices in India on 28th May, Dazen 1 priced at Rs. 6,999 and Dazen X7 with a price tag of Rs. 17,999. These two smartphones will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal.com. These devices will be available in India from June 9 onwards on Snapdeal. Registrations for Dazen 1 opened on Snapdeal on 28th itself and this will be sold via flash sale method from 9th June, whereas Dazen X7 will be sold openly from 9th June.
The Coolpad Dazen 1 is priced attractively and has got huge response in India from the prospective buyers. According to the company, the Dazen 1 has reached 1 lakh registrations on Snapdeal till today from across the country, which is a tremendous response for a new comer in Indian market. This shows that the market for entry level and low-priced smartphones is very big and nowadays the prospective customers do not bother much about the brand. Now, it is to be seen how many orders are actually executed by Snapdeal. We do hope that these numbers will also be shared jointly by Coolpad and Snapdeal with the media.

The Dazen 1 is a Dual-SIM smartphone and features 5-inch HD display (1280x720p). It is driven by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable up to 3GB via microSD card. It also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with customsied Cool UI skin on it.
The Dazen 1 equipped with an 8MP rear camera with Auto-Focus, f/2.2 lens and LED flash, and 5MP front facing camera with Auto-Focus. It is packed with a 2,500mAh battery with the patented extended power technology.
For connetivity, the Dazen 1 offes options of Indian 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hot spot, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS etc. It has dimensions of 141×71.5×9.3mm. This smartphone will be available in sand stone black and baby snow-white colours.
On the other hand, the Dazen X7 comes with a 5.2 inch FHD display, 13MP f/1.8 rear camera and 8MP front shooter. This is driven by 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 2700mAh battery, along with extended battery up to 50%. The Dazen X7 is equipped with a 13MP rear Sony camera with f/1.8 lens, and 8MP front facing camera. The phone will be available in Gold and Titanium white colours.
