DataWind Launches moreGmax 4G7 Tablet With Calling, 4G Support At Rs. 5,999

DataWind, maker of UbiSlateTablets, DroidSurfer Netbooks and PocketSurfer Smartphones has forayed into 4G tablet market under the moreGmax brand and launched today its first moreGmax 4G7 tablet at affordable price of Rs. 5, 999. This tablet has voice-calling feature and supprots 4G LTE connectivity.

The moreGmax 4G7 features a 7 inch multi-touch capacitive screen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by Quad Core Cortex A7 processor combined with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory with support for expansionn of 32GB. This tablet comes with a 0.3 MP front facing camera and a 3 MP rear camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It also offers connectivity options of Wi-fi Hotspot, Wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth and GPS.

This tablet comes bundled with free internet browsing for 1 year on Reliance Communications network.

According to Datawind, ”this tablet incorporates their own Internet-delivery platform covered by 18 U.S. and international patents allowing the devices to deliver a fast mobile web experience on regular EDGE/3G/4G LTE based networks. This reduces bandwidth consumption by up to 97%, allowing the delivery of web pages across even congested 2G networks in 5 to 7 seconds – with even faster speeds on 4G networks”.
