Gionee has rolled-out new update for its recently launched selfie-focusssed smartphone, Gionee A1. This is Over the Air (OTA) update and will allow the users to capture moments of togetherness with panoramic pictures and HD velfies without having to squeeze to fit into the frame .
In the past, panoramic pictures were restricted to the rear camera and were only available in few devices. Following the new OTA update, the users of A1 will be at liberty to take panoramic selfies, as well as selfie videos in full HD support that come in handy with a large group of friends and family. Additionally, the update shall also offer visual guidance to the users, further enhancing their overall experience to capture picturesque and super selfies.
Launched in India in the month of March, Gionee A1 is equipped with 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and selfie flash. It also comes with 13MP rear camera with AF, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and flash.
This phone features a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED Display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) SoC combined with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM extendable to 256GB.
This phones run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with layer of Amigo 4.0 on the top. The A1 has 4010 mAh battery with 18W ultrafast charge and dual charging chips. This phone has fingerprint sensors on the home button which can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
Gionee is also on the verge of launching A1 Plus phablet in India which has 6 inch FHD display and comes with 20MP front camera and Dual rear cameras of 13MP + 5MP.
