Gionee of China is on launching spree of its Android sfmartphones, and have announced today its budget smartphone known as Pioneer P3. This smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS and is priced at Rs. 7,499. The Gionee Pioneer P3 would be available in black and white color variants.
The Pioneer P3 sports a 4.3″ display, and is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, coupled with 512MB Ram, internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB. This smartphone is equipped with 5 Mega Pixel Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera with additional features including Gesture recognition, Face detection, Smile detection, Geo tagging, Eraser functioning, Panoramic view and touch focus. The front camera has capability of doing HD video recording.
The Dual Sim, Dual standby P3 smartphone is packed with 1700 mAh battery, which can deliver 8-12 hours of talk time and has standby time of 10-12 days, as claimed by the company. This phone comes pre-loaded with Face Unlocking and Guest Mode feature, which provides extra security and privacy. Pioneer P3 also supports OTA (Over the Air) function which allows for software upgrades ensuring the user remain updated with latest Operating System.
