Google has announced its latest series Of Pixel Phones – Google Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro. Good news for Pixel lovers is that these phones will be available in India from 13th October. These phones are powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G2 processor with Titan M2 security chip and shipping with the latest Android 13.
Pixel 7 sports a 6.32-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate with up to 1400 nits brightness. The Pixel 7 Pro comes with bigger display of 6.7 inch Quad-HD (3120 x 1440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1500 nits peak brightness. Both the phones come with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front and back.
The Pixel 7 comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage whereas the Pixel 7 Pro comes with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Pixel 7 is packed with 4355mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. The Pixel 7 Pro has got bigger battery of 5000mAh with 30W wired fast charging and also support for wireless charging.
For photography, the Pixel 7 has two rear cameras comprising of 50MP with f/1.85 aperture and 12MP 114° Ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Pixel 7 Pro is armed with three rear cameras comprising of 50MP with f/1.85 aperture supported by 12MP 125° Ultra-wide auto focus camera with f/2.2 aperture, 48MP telephoto camera with OIS. For best photo and video quality, these cameras come with next-gen Super Res zoom, up to two times faster Night Sight processing, sharper photos with Face Unblur and new features like Cinematic Blur. The camera range can be extebded with Super Res Zoom up to 8x on Pixel 7, and up to 30x on Pixel 7 Pro. The phones also offer optical quality similar to a dedicated 2x telephoto lens for Pixel 7 and a 10x telephoto lens for Pixel 7 Pro. For selfies, these phones have 10.8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Both the phones have In-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock support for biometric authentication and are Dust and Water-resistant (IP68). Both the phones are equipped with Stereo speakers. Both the phones offer connectivity options of USB Type-C 3.1, 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 LE, GPS and NFC.
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are sleek and have zirconia-blasted aluminium and a polished aluminium frame respectively and a camera bar. The aluminium enclosure for both phones is made of 100% recycled content. The Pixel 7 comes in three colors of Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass whereas the Pixel 7 Pro comes in Snow, Obsidian, and a new Hazel colour.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are priced at INR 59,999 and 84,999 respectively in India for 128GB versions. Both the devices will be available for purchase on Flipkart in India starting October 13th. Flipkart is offering 10% instant discount with HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards from 06th to 9th Oct 2022 and is offering Fitibit Inspire 2 at INR 4999.
