Google Pixel & Pixel XL Smartphones Launched ; Pre-orders Begin In India On 13 October Starting At Rs. 57,000

Google has said goodbye to Nexus brand and launched today Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. These phones are manufactured by HTC and has aluminum and glass design with fingerprint reader on the back. These two phones will be available in Very Silver and Quite Black in India. These phones will be available in India by the end of October and the pre-order will start on 13th October on Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales at starting price of Rs. 57,000.

The Pixel XL flaunts a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels whereas the Pixel comes with a 5 inch AMOLED display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both the phones are protected with Gorilla Glass 4. The Pixel XL is packed with 3,450mAh battery and the Pixel gets its juice from 2,770mAh battery with quick charge capability which will enable you to get 7 hours of battery with just 15 minutes of charging, as claimed by Google. Besides these, rest of the features of both the devices are same.

Both the phones – Pixel XL and Pixel are powered by Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.15GHz processsor combined with 4GB RAM and 32 or 128GB of internal storage without expansion slot. To compensate this, Google is offering free unlimited storage of videos and photos on Google Photos in actual high resolution. Both the devices run on the latest Android Nougat 7.1 version. These phones will update themselves whenever a new update is available. The new update will be downloaded and installed in the background and the users will have not to wait for the phone to update.

On the photographic front, these phones are mounted with a 12.3MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.55?m pixels and optical image stabilization. For selfies, these phones have been provided with 8MP camera on the front.

Both the phones come with Google Assistant, Duo video-messenger app and Allo app pre-installed, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and are water resistant with IP53 certified.
