Honor, sub-brand of Huawei has launched today Honor 9i smartphone in India. This is the first smartphone from Honor which is mounted with two cameras at the back and two cameras in the front. Honor 9 is progression from Honor 6X, Honor 8 and Honor 8 Pro which were very well received in the Indian market and all of them were equipped with Dual rear camera set-ups. Infact, Honor has mastered the art of Dual camera technology.
Taking its superb Dual rear camera implementation to the next level, this phone is mounted with 16MP rear camera with DUAL tone LED flash +secondary 2MP camera with Portrait Bokeh effect. For selfies, it has 13MP front-facing camera + 2MP camera with selfie Toning flash.
This phone flaunts a 5.9 inch Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with slim bezels and resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It gets its strength from Huawei Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU mated with 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 256GB. This phone has Hybrid Dual SIM slot. It is packed with 3340mAh battery which is claimed to last up to two days of ordinary use, with talk time up to 20 hours or video play up to 9 hours.
For security, the Honor 9i incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back. For immersive audio experience, this phone has been enriched with Huawei Histen audio system. The device also supports Bluetooth aptX for better audio quality and better synchronization between audio and video making gaming. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with layer of EMUI 5.1. This phone offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi 802.11ac, GPS.
This phone comes in Aurora Blue, Graphite Black and Prestige Gold colors. It is priced Rs. 17,999 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart from 14th October.
