HTC India, which is the pioneer in manufacturing state of the art smartphones such as HTC One M8, M9 and Desire series, has recently joined hands with the prestigious Gladrags Mrs India and became their title sponsors for the season 2015.
Mrs. India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects married women as representatives to compete globally. It is originally based on the Mrs. World beauty pageant. Arranged on lines similar to other beauty pageants, it also lays stress on women’s opinion on marriage. Earlier Gladrags held the franchise for Mrs. India. Winners and runners up usually represent India either in Mrs. World or Mrs. Universe or Mrs. Globe or Mrs. Earth or Mrs. Asia according to the feasibility by the organizers & franchise holders.
On the occasion of International Women’s day, which was on 8th March, HTC India unveiled the final contestants of “HTC Gladrags Mrs. India 2015”. The event was a star studded affair with the presence of Mrs. Maureen Wadia, President of Gladrags Beauty Pageants and Editor of Gladrags Magazine, Mr. Manu Seth, senior director marketing, HTC India and South Asia, Mr. Ness Wadia, Ms. Farah Oomerbhoy and Ms. Anchal Kumar.
“We are extremely kicked about this new venture with Gladrags. It is a very small step to initiate delving into newer avenues. With this initiative we plan to create awareness and seep into the minds of smart homemakers, who we feel are also eligible to make the most of the smartness of a Smartphone” said Manu Seth, senior director marketing, HTC India and South Asia.
