HTC is flooding the Indian market with its phones of all range and in different price segment. As reported yesterday, besides HTC 10 and HTC One X9 Dual SIM, the company has also launched HTC Desire 628 & Desire 825 in budget segment. HTC 628 is priced Rs. 13,990. The HTC 825 is mid-segmented phone and is priced Rs. 18,990. It comes in a choice of colors – Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash and Graphite Gray Remix with gold micro splash. Both the phones will go on sale from next month.
The HTC Desire 628 Dual SIM looks stylish in two colors – Cobalt White and Sunset Blue. This phone boasts of two finishes, a soft matte that gives off a beautiful soft-touch feel and a glossy finish that gives it a sparkling and elegant look. This is light phone having a weight of just 142 grams.
The Desire 628 bears a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is packed with 1.3GHz, Octa-Core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 2TB via microSD card. This phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, BSI sensor and 1080p video recording capability. This phone also houses a 5-megapixel front camera with BSI sensor and 1080p video recording feature. This phone gets its juice from 2200mAh battery.
HTC Desire 628 Dual SIM incorporates BoomSound technology, which is the hallmark of HTC to enhance your audio experience while listening to music on this phone. This phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS.
This phone supports 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and offers other standard connectivity features.
On the other hand, HTC Desire 825 is for mid-segment and has a 5.5 inch, HD 720p Super LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection. This phone is driven by Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage extendable to 2TB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 2700mAh battery with fast charging capability.
On the camera front, the Desire 825 sports a 13MP main camera with auto-focus, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and full HD 1080p video recording. It comes with various modes such as HDR, Face Beauty and Panorama. It also houses a 5MP front camere with BSI sensor, f/2.8 aperture and full HD 1080p video recording capabilty. The selfie phone has various modes including HDR, Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie.
This phone runs on Android Marshmallow OS and supports 4G LTE. The Desire 825 is Hi-Res Audio certified and comes with HTC’s BoomSound with Dolby Audio technology.
HTC has also announced HTC 630 and HTC 830 without the details of the prices.
