HTC based in Taiwan and one of the leading ssmartphones maker in the world, has today unveiled an updated model for 3G users in it’s most popular line, the HTC Desire 816, which was released in 2014. The updated HTC Desire 816G comes with a whopping 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM extendable to 32GB, compared to Desire 816 which was introduced with a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage.
The other features of updated Desire 816G remains the same as of earlier variant. The new Desire 816G also sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) screen. This smartphone also comes with two powerful cameras – 13MP rear-facing camera complete with HTC Zoe and automatic video highlight, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera, making it the perfect smartphone for capturing both the perfect selfie and stunning landscapes in amazing quality.
This phone is also fuelled by a 2600mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to 3G 10 hrs talktime. This smartphone also runs on Android KitKat OS with HTC’s own HTC Sense on top. This is also Dual-SIM ( GSM+CDMA) phone and supports Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,3G etc.
The HTC Desire 816G comes fully loaded with HTC’s iconic dual-frontal speakers and HTC BoomSound for providing good sound quality. It also features HTC BlinkFeed,which keeps users up-to-date with the latest news and social updates.
The new HTC Desire 816G will be available in India at INR 19,990.
