Alongside M9+, Taiwanese giant also unveiled its premium phablet HTC One E9+ in India. This phablet features a 5.5 inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution IPS LCD 2K display. HTC has not revealed the price of this device and the same will be announced close on the heels of its availability. It will be available in Meteor Grey, Gold Sopia and Rose Gold with all major retailers from the second half of May.
HTC One E9+ is a Dual-SIM device and is driven by a MediaTek helio X10, Octa-core (8 x 2.0 GHz) processor. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 2TB via microSD card.
Like the flagship M9+, the E9+ is also equipped with 20MP rear camera with auto-focus, BSI sensor, f/2.2, 2.78cm (1.09 inch) lens, capable of 4K video recording. It also includes HTC UltraPixel front camera with BSI sensor, f/2.0, 2.47cm (0.97 inch) lens, for 1080p video recording. It also comes with HTC Eye app which enables you to shoot selfies automatically with Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie. You can also make yourself look better with Live Makeup feature before you take the shot.
Like M9+, the E9+ also enhances your music and sound listening experience without using the speakers or headphones as it also comes with HTC BoomSound front-facing speakers powered by Dolby Audio Surround technology.
The HTC One E9+ runs on the lates Android Lollipop OS with latest HTC Sense layer on top. It incorporates popular applications such as HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe Highlights etc.
The HTC One E9+ is packed with a 2800mAh battery. For connectivity, it offers support for 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), DLNA, 0.35cm (0.13 inch) stereo audio jack and micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port. It has dimensions of 6.16×3.01×0.29 inch and weighs 149 grams.
This phone would be ideally suitable for those who want bigger screen and cannot afford premium M9+. This phone is expected to be in the range of Rs. 35K to 40K.
