Huawei has launched today its mid-range Honor C, entry level Honor Bee smartphones, and a Power Bank AP007, at an event in Mumbai. These three products would also be sold exclusively through online partner Flipkart.com.
The Honor 4C would be available for Rs. 8,999 ; whereas Honor Bee is priced at Rs. 4,999. The Honor Power Bank AP007 will be available at an attractive price of Rs. 1, 399. Pre-order for Honor Bee has started on both hihonor.in and flipkart.com and sales will start from 11th May. Honor 4C and AP007 will go on sale starting 6:00 pm on May 08th, 2015. Additionally, the Honor Bee would be available at a discount of 10% on purchase via debit/credit card as a limited period inaugural offer on pre-ordering.
The Honor 4C comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 64-bit Kirin 620, 1.2 GHz Octa-Core, A53 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone supports Dual-SIM in dual standby mode and runs old Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 superimposed on it.
The 4C is equipped with a powerful 13MP rear autofocus camera with an f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, Smart Image 2.5 technology that is claimed to churn out outstanding good quality imaging both in day and night. It also houses a 5MP front camera for capturing panoramic selfies. This smartphone is packed with a 2550mAh battery, which incorporates patented power-saving technology, which is claimed to effectively saves 30% power.
For connectivity, it offers options of Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Micro-USB etc. This device has weight of 162 grams, and has dimensions of 143.3×71.9×8.8mm. It is easy to carry and easily fits into your pocket.
On the other hand, the Honor Bee is an entry level smartphone and targetted for those, who wish to switch to smartphone from a feature phone. It is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. The Honor 4C comes with a 8MP rear autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, and a 2MP front camera. It is fuelled by a 1730mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei EMUI 3.0 Lite superimposed on it. This smartphone also supports Dual-SIM.
