Huawei Nexus 6P, which was launched in India in the month of October and which is getting huge response not only here but in global markets, will now be available in gold color also in India. Huawei has announced the availability of the 64 GB Gold Edition Nexus 6P in India. This smartphone would be sold exclusively by Flipkart.com at Rs. 43,999. It will go on pre-order on Flipkart.com starting 21st December and the company is offering an additional 10% Bank Offer for 1st 3 days starting 21st December, 2015.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Allen Wang, President, Huawei India – Consumer Business Group, said, “The Huawei Nexus 6P has been well received by the Indian audience and keeping in mind the niche target group, we have introduced the Gold color Special Edition of the smartphone. At Huawei, we use the cutting-edge manufacturing technique combined with latest and innovative software technology to provide the best-in-class product.
Just to remind our readers, the 64GB version of Huawei Nexus 6P was launched at Rs. 42,999 in Aluminum and Graphite colors. The Gold Edition announced today is expensive by Rs. 1,000, but keeping in view of Indians’s penchant for Gold color, the prospective buyers would not mind spending Rs. 1000 more for this powerful smartphone. The Gold edition has the same features of Nexus 6P except that its internal storage capacity is 64GB.
Commenting further on the launch of the limited edition, Mr. P. Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India – Consumer Business Group, added “The limited edition Gold Nexus 6P would be available on Flipkart with preorder starting December 21st and we are hopeful that this Special Edition smartphone would receive an overwhelming response from the Indian customers just as the other variants of 6P did.”
Just to refreshen the memory of our readers, the Nexus 6P is the first Nexus device manufactured by Huawei. The Huawei Nexus 6P sports a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display having a pixel density of 515ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood is Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, Adreno 430 GPU combined with 3GB RAM and internal storage of 64GB. The 32GB variant is also available but not in gold color.
The 12.3MP rear camera of this phone has a Dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture4K video recording and slow motion (240fps)video recording capability. It also houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. This phone gets its juice from 3,450mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge, which can provide 7 hours of charge in 10 minutes. For crisp and enhanced audio experience, this phone is equipped with dual front speakers.
The Nexus 6P also incorporates Imprint fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C charger. According to Google, the Nexus Imprint is capable of recognizing your fingerprint in less than 600ms and USB Type-C charger has fast charging feature. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
