Huawei of China has launched today its smart watch in India meant for both men and women. Priced at Rs. 22,999, Huawei watch will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart.com starting today at 2pm. This watch was unveiled in MWC 2015 and in India, it will be available in leather bands only. Huawei watch is the first smartwatch in the Huawei wearable family.
The Huawei watch is powered by Android Wear and both Android and iOS users will be able to connect to the Huawei Watch. This watch has classic design which is inspired by Swiss timepieces.
Huawei watch features a fully circular 1.4-inch touch-sensitive AMOLED display, coated in scratch-proof sapphire crystal (the favoured choice amongst Swiss watch manufacturers) and a cold-forged stainless steel frame. It has a 400 x 400 pixels resolution in 286 ppi at a 10,000:1 high contrast ratio. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor copled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage. It is packed with a 300mAh battery and come with a magnetic charger dock.
This watch has Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphone usage and it has offline music download support. Music can be started via voice commands, with users able to search for destinations and navigate their way there using the same voice actions.
The Huawei watch includes a heart rate monitor sensor (PPG sensor), which can accurately measure heart rates. The sensor protrudes slightly for better skin contact and greater accuracy. Its 6-Axis motion sensor, with a gyroscope and accelerometer, helps to track your physical activities including walking, running, cycling and mountain climbing.
This watch has “find my phone” feature to locate missing phones. This smartwatch also has feature of always-on watch faces.
