Infinix has today unveiled its NOTE 12 5G series of smartphones comprising of NOTE 12 5G and NOTE 12 Pro 5G. Both Note 12 5G and Note 12 5G Pro will be supported by 12 5G Bands. The NOTE 12 5G comes in 6GB RAM (Expandable up to 9GB)/64GB memory and NOTE 12 Pro 5G will be available in 8GB RAM (Expandable up to 13 GB) /128GB storage. Both the devices comes in two colour options: Force Black and Snowfall White. The Note 12 5G and Note 12 5G Pro are priced at INR 14,999 and INR 17,999 respectively and will be available on Flipkart from 15th July onwards. Axis bank credit/debit card holders can get Rs. 1500 off on the purchase.
The NOTE 12 5G series sport a 6.7” FHD+ AMOLED display with 108% NTSC Ratio, 100% DCI P3 colour gamut, 92% screen-to-body ratio and come with 180 Hz touch-sampling rate. Both the phones are powered by MediaTek D810 5G chipset based on 6nm fabrication technology with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The NOTE 12 5G comes in 6GB (Expandable up to 9GB)/64GB memory variant with LPDDR4X RAM, 12 Pro 5G will be available in 8GB (Expandable up to 13 GB) /128GB storage with LPDDR4X RAM. The internal storage of both the variants can be extended upto 512GB via dedicated microSD card. These phones are packed with 5000mAh battery with a 33W charging support and a Type C charger, which is claimed to charge 100% in 94 minutes.
On the imaging front, both the phones have triple rear camera set-up. The NOTE 12 Pro 5G is equipped with a 108 MP camera supported by D810 5G chipset, 2MP depth sensor, 2MP macro camera and Quad LED flash. The NOTE 12 5G features a 50 MP primary camera lens with an f/1.6 large aperture, 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens. Both the smartphones come with a 16 MP AI selfie camera with a dual-LED flash.
Both the phones run the latest XOS 10.6 OS based on Android 12. Both the phones have Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both the phones offer connectivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE,5G SA / NSA (12 bands), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS.
Both the phones have AG matte finish on the back panel. The camera module is placed on the top left, whereas the Infinix logo is engraved at the lower end of the left side of the panel.
I can buy this smartphone for my father. The Mediatek chipset in it and the display look so interesting in the device.
Nice. Infinix Note 12 5G looks good enough for the budget buyers with its Dimensity 810 chipset. The battery section is also quite cool.
