Infinix has launched today their latest smartphone, Infinix Note 5 Stylus with X Pen Stylus for Rs. 15,999. This is the first smartphone with Pen Stylus to be launched at such an economical price. This is Android One smartphone and has metallic body.
The X Pen stylus offers 4096 level pressure sensitivity and comes with fine tip. You can design, draw, write and sketch with this on the display of the phone. You can create memos and take screen shots and also do mathematical calcualtions with it. It is equipped with superfast charge which is claimed to give 90 minutes of output from 20 seconds of XPen charge. The XPen has Air Command function which enables you to click the button to open the XPen menu from any window, Double click the button to open a new memo, Long Press button to switch between eraser and pen/brush while taking notes or painting. The Stylus is intelligent also as it is said to calculate from simple mathematical calculations to most difficult ones. It can recognise your writing in Hindi and English. These two features of calculation and handwriting recognition would be released through OTA by end of December.
On the other specifications front, the Infinix Note 5 comes with 5.93 inch (2160×1080 pixels) FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with ARM Mali G71 GPU mated with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging which is claimed to charge the full battery in just 60 minutes. This phone supports Hybrid Dual SIM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One).
For imaging, this phone is equipped with 16MP rear camera with Dual LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and boasts of of AI based Auto Scene Detection feature to enhance quality of photos in outdoor scenario.This camera also supports AI based Portrait Mode. For selfies, this phone has 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, soft LED flash with AI beauty mode which detects 255 facial features with the help of deep learning algorithm. The front camera also supports AI Bokeh mode and has Wide Selfie feature.
For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and this phone offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus is priced Rs. 15,999 and comes in Bordeux Red and Charcoal Blue colors. It will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting from December 4th.
