Indian handsets maker, Intex Technologies has added one more smartphone to its portfolio of Aqua series by launching Aqua GenX. The Aqua GenX will be available in two premium colors – Silver and Champagne and is priced Rs. 13,999.
The 4G-enabled Aqua GenX comes with a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920X1080) display and sports a metallic unibody design. The display is protected by Dragon Trail glass for protection against scratches. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor (Mediatek MT6753 chipset) combined with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM with an expandable memory of up to 128GB via microSD card.
This phone runs on Android OS Lollipop 5.1 and is packed with a 2850mAh Li-Poly battery. The device has Hybrid SIM Slot allowing 2 SIMs or 1 SIM + 1 SD Card for memory expansion.
This phone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with Samsung Sensor & LED Flash and a 5MP front camera for clicking selfies even in low light. The Camera has PDAF feature that is claimed to improves ‘speed of focus’ to produce sharper images. The camera comes with features like Gesture capture with Victory symbol, HDR, PIP mode, live photo mode, motion tracker, capture while recording, face detect, voice capture, Panorama, multi-angle view and Anti-shake (rear side).
The Aqua GenX include a Q-Key on the right side, which allows the user to set shortcut for any feature one wants to open direct by pressing the key. Another feature is Glove Mode for touch. Once this feature is ON, the touch becomes more sensitive and user can operate phone wearing gloves. Other features include Smart Wake, HotKnot, Cast Screen and Smart Motion. The Aqua GenX has Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
