Indus OS, which is multi-lingual domestic operating system brand in India, will now be available on Intex range of smartphones. Indus OS has announced its partnership with Intex Technologies to power their smartphones for reaching out to those customers who are not comfortable with English language. With this partnership, Intex will be strengthening its regional push to tap the fast growing regional language consumers and launch Indus OS powered smartphones soon.
The Indus keyboard is a pioneer in regional keyboards and offers the auto-correction and the patented matra-prediction features in 12 languages. It is a Hybrid Keyboard which allows users to type in a mix of English and regional language using just the English keyboard. In addition, it has its own regional app marketplace for content, App Bazaar, available in 12 languages.

Indus OS has also collaborated with the Govt. of India’s Department of Electronics and IT (DeitY) to introduce OS integrated text-to-speech technology in regional languages.
