iQOO has announced today software update policy of its recently launched iQOO 12 smartphone. This phone will get 4 years of FunTouch OS updates and 5 years of security patches. With this update, iQOO 12 users will be able to enjoy an even better experience with the latest OS features and improvements till 2027, as well as stay protected with enhanced security patches until 2028.
To refresh your memory, iQOO 12 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which is coupled with an Adreno 750 GPU. This smartphone sports a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels) along with 144Hz refresh rate. The display has upto 3000 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+ for vivid visuals. This phone comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and upto 512GB 4.0 storage. It is packed with 5000mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast flash charging.
For photography, this phone is armed with 50MP primary camera with OIS, f/1.68 aperture supported by 50MP ultra-wide lens having 150° field of view, f/2.0 aperture and 64MP telephoto lens withg 3x optical zoom, f/2.57 aperture and a V3 imaging chip for enhanced photography. This phone has a 16MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture for clicking selfies.
For connectivity, this phone offers various options of Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4. This phone incorporates in-display fingerprint sensor. This phone is Dust and splash resistance (IP64). This phone is equipped with stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio.
The iQOO 12 comes in different color options – Legend Edition in White and the Alpha Edition in Black. The iQOO 12 is available in two variants of 12GB RAM+256G Storage at INR 52999 and 16GB RAM+512GB Storage priced at INR 57999.
