Indian handsets maker Karbonn is bullish about the upcoming year 2014, and will reach out to its consumers in India with adoption of new technologies on its smartphones and tablets, that will change the face of smart device industry in India.

Karbonn has listed few technology trends that will emerge in smart devices segment, and some of them are :
1. New app Ecosystem will emerge, and apps for specific needs will transform the phone into self styled boutique catering to every sector of the society and enhancing everyday life.
2. Smart devices equipped with new hi-tech Smart Sensors and cameras to enable finger printing and smart eye tracking will become trend.
3. Octa-cores and optimized processors with 64 bit architecture will become norm in smart devices, which will offer better multitasking capability and high energy efficiency.
4. Cameras with 16 MP image resolutions with optical image stabilization technology, would be another highlight of the upcoming flagship smartphones.
5. 2014 to experience Ultra HD(3,840X2,160 resolution) and WQHD (2,560×1,440 resolution) with ppi’s of 500 and more.
6. In 2014, more devices will support 4G, 3G and 2G technologies to enhance the user experience.
