Indian handsets player, Karbonn has launched today Aura smartphone at an affordable price of Rs. 4,990.
The Aura features a 5 inch IPS-LCD screen that is claimed to offer a consistent and accurate colour from all viewing angles. Further, the company has stated that Aura’s display is multi touch capacitive screen and the pinch zoom allows to zoom the image in just one pinch. The icons, pictures are placed on the screen in a way that gives a real-life experience.
The Aura is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core processor paired with 512 MB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4, KitKat OS. This phone is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera which enables a high quality video mode for smooth video calling. Aura also comes with G- sensor which senses the tilting direction of the phone and auto rotates itself. It can also be synced to Outlook emails and comes with a Voice Search option. It is packed with a 2000 mAh battery.
This phone has connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi etc. and is capable of delivering a lag free browsing experience be it video streaming or social media, as mentioned by the company in its press release.
