It is raining affordable Windows powered smartphone in Indian market. Only yesterday, Celkon launched its budget Windows smartphone and today another Indian mobile brand, LAVA has launched its first Windows powered smartphone, Iris Win1. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting 4th December at Rs.4,999.
The LAVA Iris Win1 sports a 4-inch WVGA TN display that shows 16 million colors. The screen features G+F, 2-Point Touch panel and sensors like accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient Light Sensor.
The Iris Win1 is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core Processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage that is expandable to 32 GB via microSD card.
This smartphone comes with 5MP Auto Focus BSI+ sensor back camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP front Camera. Iris Win1 runs on Windows 8.1. On the connectivity front, it supports Dual Sim (3G+2G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Connectivity. It is packed with a 1950 mAh Li-Ion battery.
This device comes with a Flip Cover and screen guard inside the box along with other standard accessories like charger, Earphone, USB Cable and user manual.

The Iris Win 1 will face competition from the recently announced Celkon Win 400 Windows smartphone at Rs. 4,979, which has almost the same features. The Iris Win1 will have to compete with other affordable Windows smartphones such as Nokia Lumia 630 and Micromax Canvas Win W092.
