Indian handsets maker, LAVA International, today announced the launch of Iris 465 budget smartphone with 21 Indian language support. The iris 465 supports the following languages- Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada.
The iris 465 is a 3G smartphone which runs on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat, and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) standby support. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM, 4GB ROM, expandable up to 32GB storage expansion via microSD card.
The iris 465 is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with flash support and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera features face recognition, smile detection, self-timer & panorama mode.The iris 465 also comes with a FM player, music& a video player. It
The iris 465 is packed with a 1750mAh Li-Ion battery which is claimed to offer up to 22 hours and 58 minutes (2G) of talk time, and 10 hours and 41 minutes (3G) of talk time. The smartphone measures 134.4x68x10 mm and weighs 146 grams.
LAVA iris 465 comes in white & black colour, and has a price tag of INR 4499. It will be available for sale across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets from today and on all leading e-commerce portals from next week.
