Lava has added one more smartphone today to its Iris portfolio by launching Iris 504Q+, which is the successor to the highly successful Iris 504Q. The Lava Iris 504Q+ is priced at Rs. 13,990 and available in Grey and Silver colours. This smartphone comes with a flip cover that puts the phone automatically in sleep mode ensuring reduced battery consumption.
The key feature of Iris 504Q+ is its 10 MP rear autofocus camera with Sony Exmor RS Sensor having sensor size of 1/3.2 inch, which is capable of allowing enhanced lowlight performance. This camera has features like High Dynamic Range (HDR), Geo-tagging, touch focus, vertical and horizontal panorama capture and face detection. Iris 504Q+ also sports a 2MP front camera. This smartphone has advanced gesture motion features. The users can now capture images just by saying “Cheese” or “Capture” from both front and rear camera using the voice command feature. The intuitive gesture motion functionality allows the users to interact with the phone with just a swipe of the hand in the air. It can be used for clicking photos, changing tracks on the music player and video player etc.
The Iris 504Q+ features a 5 inch IPS screen having resolution of 1280×720 pixels with OGS display technology. The Iris 504Q+ comes with a scratch-resistant and tough Asahi Dragontrail glass, which is claimed to be six times stronger than normal glass used conventionally. The display comes with full lamination that eliminates air gaps between LCD and glass making it look perfectly black in sleep mode. This smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along-with Mali 400 MP2 @500MHz Graphics Unit, coupled with 1GB RAM and an internal memory of 8GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via micro-SD card.
The Iris 504Q+ has a metallic back cover and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. This is Dual SIM phone, which offers dual standby capability. It is packed with a 2000mAh battery. This smartphone measures 146.7 x72.5 x7.9 mm, and weighs 149 grams.
For connectivity options, the Iris 504Q+ includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Assisted-GPS, 3G connectivity options with video calling apart from EDGE, GPRS and USB connectivity. The Iris 504Q+ comes with pre-loaded social networking apps like BBM, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter.
