Lenovo A7-50 Android Tablet With 7 Inches Display,Voice Calling Launched At Rs. 15,499

After announcing slew of Android smartphones in the recent months, the leading Chinese company Lenove has now focussed its attention on tablet segment. They have announced the mid-range tablet – Lenovo A7-50 Android tablet at Rs. 15,499. This tablet is available in midnight blue color only. The A7-50 has voice calling capability and also has the option of 3G wireless support through a SIM card slot.


The A7-50 tablet features a 7 inches HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display. This tablet is powered by a 1.3 GHz MTK Quad Core Processor, coupled with 1GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and 32 GB external expandable storage via SD card. It runs Android 4.2, but Lenovo says it will be updated to the latest KitKat OS version without specifying the time frame. The A7-50 is equipped with 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. It is packed with a 3450mAh battery, which has a life upto 7 and half hours. This tablet is very light as it is just 9.6mm thin and weighs 320 grams. Besides 3G, the other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS with A/GPS.

The A7-50 also comes preloaded with premium apps such as SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit. SHAREit helps in rapid sharing of photos, apps across devices without network charges or a Wi-Fi connection, while SECUREit helps speed up the device and protect against viruses, spam, malware; and SYNCit helps back up & restore the user’s contacts, SMS messages and call logs.

Speaking on the launch of A7-50, Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India said, “The market is inundated with options, but the A-750 stands out as it is the first complete 7” tablet that offers double the power and performance, vis-à-vis other devices in the same price bracket. Multitask with this future-ready device that empowers the user to make the most of the tablet experience.”

The Lenovo A7-50 will compete with mid-range Android tablets especially with Google’s Nexus 7.
