Lenovo India Launches ThinkPad S1 Yoga & 3 New ThinkPad Ultrabooks

The Chinese PC maker Lenovo has introduced convertible ThinkPad S1 Yoga, and a new range of ThinkPad Ultrabooks – namely  ThinkPad T440, ThinkPad T440s and ThinkPad X240s Ultrabooks, for  the enterprise segment in India. These Ultrabooks are powered by Intel’s fourth generation “Haswell” Core processors, and are priced in the starting range of Rs 78K to RS. 95K.

Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga is convertible Ultrabook with multi-mode features, and can be flipped complete 360 degrees, from laptop mode to stand mode and tent mode to tablet mode. Since this is multi-mode device, Lenovo has  designed a Lift and Lock system that disables the keyboard in the tablet or stand mode facilitating uninterrupted usage. This 12.5-inch HD touch display Ultrabook features Windows 8.1, and comes pre-loaded with Intel  SBA platform, which allows uers to manage security better and ensure business continuity.

Price: Rs. 80,000 onwards

Lenovo ThinkPad T440

Lenovo ThinkPad T440 features Windows 8 with the 14″ HD screen. It comes with optional multitouch capability, and a TrackPad that supports Windows 8 gestures. This device is powered by 4th Generation Intel Core Processors, and is packed with 1TB storage and 10 hours + battery life. Lenovo claims that this Ultrabook has  military-specific durability and glass fiber design for a tough yet light laptop.

Price: Rs. 78,000 onwards

Lenovo ThinkPad T440s

Lenovo ThinkPad T440s features the carbon fiber top cover, which Lenovo claims makes this Ultrabook light, but durable. This Ultrabook has wider range of connection options—mini-DisplayPort, VGA, USB and SD card reader, which make viewing, sharing and transferring data easier. This Ultrabook sports a 14-inch HD display, and is powered by  Intel Core i5 processors and touch capability with Windows 8 Pro.

Price: Rs. 90,000 onwards

Lenovo ThinkPad X240

Lenovo ThinkPad X240s Ultrabook claimed by Lenovo is the thinnest and lightest full featured ThinkPad yet. It is  17.65 mm thin and weighs 2.84 lbs(1.2 KGS). It offers VGA, Mini-DisplayPort and two USB 3.0 ports for connectivity. This Ultrabook sports 12.5 inch Full-HD IPS touch screen display, rock-solid carbon fiber construction and a glass TrackPad.

Price: Rs. 95,000 onwards
