China based Lenovo, the number 1 PC player in the world has launched the ThinkPad 8 Tablet for professionals in India. This is the first ever Windows 8 tablet from the iconic ThinkPad stable. This tablet is priced at INR 39,999, and is now available for pre-order exclusively on Lenovo’s online brand store- TheDoStore.
The ThinkPad 8 tablet features a 8.3 inches WUXGA (1920×1200), smudgeless display with Infinity AGC Dragontrail Glass, and is powered by an Intel Atom Processor Z3770 (2M Cache, up to 2.39 GHz). It comes with 2GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
This tablet also has 8MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and -flash and video recording. The Quick Shot Cover is an ideal accessory where with a simple flick back, the corner flap exposes the lens, and the Windows 8.1 camera app opens automatically. This tablet also houses 2MP fixed-focus front camera. Its magnetic cover attaches automatically to the tablet. The Quick Shot Cover is so strong that you can easily flap the tablet around without the fear of it dropping.
With high Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, ThinkPad 8 comes with micro HDMI-out port that allows easy connection to an HD television or other monitor.
