The Chinese smartphone giant Lenovo has announced that it will be launching photography-centric Vibe Shot smartphone in India on 22nd September. The launch will be live streamed by the company and can be seen on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxe0U7ilNVY
The main USP of upcoming Vibe Shot is its powerful optics. The back panel of this smartphone has been designed in such a way that it resembles a point-and-shoot camera. This smartphone is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 16:9 BSI sensor and tricolour flash. It also houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vibe Shot sports a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels, 441ppi) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is driven by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. This phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 128GB via microSD card. This is Dual-SIM device and supports LTE connectivity besides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth etc. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop OS.
The Vibe Shot is expected to be in the price range of Rs. 20,000 to compete with Asus ZenFone 2 and Motorola’s Moto X Play which has been launched at Rs. 20,000 (32GB variant).
