Lenovo To Launch Three Upgraded Smartphones & Announces Service Expansion Plans

For the upcoming Diwali festival, Lenovo is launching three affordable smartphones, which will be available by the end of this month in retail stores across the country. These three phones are Lenovo A6000Shot, A1000 & K3Note Music edition, priced at Rs. 9999, 4999 & 12999 respectively.

The A6000 Shot  is a powerful enhanced version of India’s top selling 4G smartphone series. The Lenovo A6000 Shot comes with 13MP rear camera, Snapdragon 410 Quad core processor and 2GB RAM. The 4G powered A6000Shot is one of the first few smartphones in the world to offer a 360 degree surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos technology.

For the entry-level segment, the A1000 is packed with 1.3GHz Quad core processor with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and Android Lollipop 5.0 OS. A1000 offers great value to first time Smartphone users.

And finally, Lenovo’s K3 Note Music edition will come with world’s first AnyWoofer technology. It is packes with powerful features such as the 6752 OctaCore processor with 2GB RAM, 5.5 inch Full HD screen, 13MP rear camera with Omnivision sensor and dual LED flash, and 3000 mAh Li-ion battery.

Of late, Lenovo has been quite aggressive in offering its smartphones in differen categories. Aiming for an exceptional ‘service delivery experience’ for its smartphones customers, Lenovo in partnership with Motorola is going to launch its Exclusive Service Centers (ESCs) across the country. Lenovo is looking to take smartphones consumer service to an all new level in India with the launch of more than 50 ESCs across 40 cities by Diwali this year and more than 100 such centers by the middle of next year, as communicated by Lenovo in its press release.

Currently, Lenovo has more than 350 service centers spread across India that cater to a fast-expanding smartphones customer base. More than 100 Service Centers covering almost 80% of call volume are enabled with Loaner units to offer stand-by devices to the customers. Over 200 Service Centers covering almost 90% of call volume are enabled with Spares Minimum stock level (MSL) to offer faster repair Turn Around Time, adds the statement of the company.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Director- Smartphones, Lenovo India said, “Our product line ups have mostly been customer demand based. In the past year, the growing customer response to our 4G portfolio has been very encouraging. We are now looking to offer our customers an improved service experience. We are enhancing some of our most popular smartphone devices with premium add-on features for Diwali.”
