Besides launching K5 Note at an event in New Delhi, Lenovo has also announced today upgraded Vibe K5 Plus which was launched in India in the month of March this year at same price of Rs. 8,499.
Their are two changes made in the upgraded variant. The new Vibe K5 Plus now comes with enhanced 3GB RAM compared to 2GB of earlier version. The new variant now comes with new UI. Rest of the features of the upgraded variant remain the same.
Just to remind our readers, the new upgraded Vibe K5 Plus carry the same other features of its earlier version. It sports a 5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and 441ppi. This new phone is also powered by 1.7Ghz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal stoarge which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. This phone is fuelled by a 2750mAh battery.
This phone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5 piece lens and houses a 5MP front facing shooter with 4 pieces lens for video calling and clicking selfies. This smartphone supports 4G LTE and also offers other connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio and GPS etc.
This is Dual SIM device and runs on old Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Lenovo has missed the opportunity to upgrade the new variant with Marshmallow OS. Probably, they will do it in due course of time. For enhanced audio exprience, this phone also comes with twin stereo speakers powered by Dolby audio.
This new phone also incorporates TheaterMax technology that provides users with an immersive cinematic experience with VR Headset.
