Lenovo has launched today its new flagship, the Vibe X smartphone in India for Rs. 25,999. This sleek and very light smartphone will give stiff competition to Gionee Elifef E6 and Micromax Canvas Turbo. The Vibe X will hit retail counters later this month and curently, this can be pre-ordered at thedostore.com.
The Vibe X sports a 5-inch full-HD display, having a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a pixel density of 440ppi. The display of this smartphone has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Lenovo Vibe X is equipped with a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear-facing camera with a back-illuminated sensor and an LED flash. The phone also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide-angle 84 degree lens. For connectivity options, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS and 3G. The Vibe X is packed with a 2,000mAh battery.
According to Lenovo, the Vibe X is designed as the incredibly thin at 6.9 mm and lightest (121 gms) 5 inch smartphone in the market today. This smartphone has a premium polycarbonate body, with a machine-crafted mould and a laser-engraved 3D tactile finish.
The Vibe X incorporates many features, which distinguishes it from other competitive devices. This smartphone has face orientation rotation feature and the smart call feature. Smart swipe is an innovative feature on the Vibe X which enables the user to unlock the phone without pressing the power button. In addition, it has other feature, which automatically rings louder when the Vibe X is in your pocket/handbag and decreases the ringing tone when picked up. It also has a smart dialer that offers you the convenience of using the keypad with one hand.
Lenovo’s “SECUREit” is security software on the VibeX that helps you track, analyse and optimise your data usage. It also provides a guest mode/parental control that enable you to keep your data safe while you share your phone with someone and a unique SMS based anti-theft system.
Lenovo’s “SHAREit” app helps in carrying out phone-to-phone data transfer in the fastest possible way. At about 4 MBps, users can send across pictures, large videos, and complete folders and even share apps without any data cable or Wi-Fi hub.
