Lenovo has launched today two Android tablets in India – Yoga in 8 inch and 10 inch variants. These Yoga tablets were first unveiled in October this year in US. The Yoga 8 inch is priced at Rs. 22,999, and for 10 inch, you will have to pay Rs. 28,999.
Both the Yoga tablets run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and has the same design and specifications, and the only difference is their screen sizes. Both Yoga tablets feature displays with 1280×800 pixels resolution, and are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor for the 3G version, coupled with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB built-in storage, which can be expanded upto 64 GB via microSD card. These tablets are equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear cameras, and also come with1.6-megapixel front-facing cameras. The Yoga 8 inch tablet is packed with 6000 mAh battery, and the Yoga 10 inch has a 9,000mAh battery under the hood. .According to Lenovo, both the tablets can deliver up to 18 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.
The Yoga tablets has feattures of Lenovo’s multimode design, which enable the user to have choice of using these tablets in hold, tilt and stand mode. The tablets also feature cylindrical handles, which provides a good grip to hold the tablet.
Lenovo is also offering free accessories with Yoga tablets, worth Rs. 4,000 ofr 8 inch and Rs. 5,000 for 10 inch variants, which include a sleeve cover, protective film and earphone, and the freebies would be available until November 24, 2013.
