To pave the way for official launch of its Letv Superphones, Chinese handsets maker Letv held its first Le Meetup with its super fans in Bangalore on 26th December. The company said in its statement that the meet witnessed a full house gathering of LeTV’s #Superfans, bloggers, keen tech enthusiasts and influencers from the city who had an exclusive hands-on experience of LeTV’s products.
The next meet of Letv is scheduled for 30th December and 9th January in New Delhi followed by one in Hyderabad.
The meetup in Bangalore had an exclusive Q&A session and allowed an open dialogue between fans, bloggers, Youtubers, and Le staff. As the closing note, Ivan Wang, Head , Digital Marketing said “ It has been a truly rewarding experience interacting with our fans and followers. We recognize that they are vital and hence we have ensured that our comment response rate is 98% and response time is 3 three minutes. This is a new benchmark in the industry and has been acknowledged by our fans in this very forum. It is expected that the Letv will enter India with LE 1S smartphone which was launched in China in the month of October.
As far as Letv LE 1S is concerned, it comes with high-end hardware. It flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) ISP display, 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection autofocus, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3000mAh battery, USB Type-C with fast-charging Speed Volt technology, fingerprint sensor below the primary camera on the back. This phone supports 4G LTE bands and Dual-SIM and also offers other standard connectivity options. This phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI of Letv.
Keeping in view of aggressive pricing strategy of Letv for its smartphones, this phone is expected to be launched in the range of Rs. 11,000 in India.
