LG has announced today that it will be showcasing G Pad II 10.1 tablet in IFA, Berlin. Subsequently, this tablet will be available in key markets in North America, Europe and Asia. This tablet will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions.
As its name suggests, the G Pad II 10.1 has 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200 / 224 ppi) display and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It is packed with 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC internal storage and has provision of microSD card.
This tablet is powered by a long-lasting 7400mAh battery, the largest in its class, as claimed by LG. It is also equipped with 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras. It offers connectivity options of LTE Cat. 4 CA / Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac and A-GPS, USB 2.0. This tablet measures 254.3 x 161.1 x 7.8mm and its weight is 489 grams.
To woo potential customers, the G Pad II 10.1 incorporates software features such as Reader Mode, which according to LG makes reading e-books more comfortable by reducing the blue light of the display backlight, which studies have shown to cause eye fatigue and blurred vision. Dual Window feature enable you to divides the screen allowing you to run two applications at the same time. QuickMemo+ allows users to instantly create, save and share their memos from any screen, without having to open a separate application.
The G Pad II 10.1 comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office and an additional 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.
This tablet will be available in Bronze color and will be displayed at LG stand at IFA 2015 from 4-9 September, in Hall 18. LG will announce its price clsoe on the heels of its availability in respective markets.
