South Korean giant LG has announced today that it is beginning gloabl roll-out of its X Cam & X Screen smartphones, which were unveiled during MWC. The X screen and X cam will first be available in South Korea followed by key markets worldwide including Europe, Latin America and Asia.
These two mid-range phones run on the latest Marshmallow 6.0 OS and are designed for customers who want great camera, advanced display. Both the devices support 4G LTE networks.
The X cam sports dual cameras of 13MP and 5MP on the rear and 8MP camera on the front. It features a 5.2 inch full HD display. Thanks to LG’s seamless 3D Bending Glass, the X cam features an elegant curved finish on the front and with a profile of only 5.2mm, the device is light weight. It has weight of just 118 grams and is extremely comfortable to hold in the hand. This phone has dimensions of 147.5 x 73.6 x 5.2mm~6.9mm.
This phone is driven by 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is packed with 2520 mAh battery.
This phone will be available in four colors – Titan Silver,White, Gold and Pink Gold.
On the other hand, the X screen model is equipped with an “Always-on” Second Screen which until now has only been available on LG’s premium V10 and also on LG G5 premium phone. The Second Screen sits above the main 4.93-inch HD In-cell Touch display. With the 1.76 inch Second Screen, users can easily access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity or just play music. The Second Screen also lets users check time, date, battery status and other notifications without ever having to turn on the phone. What’s more, the X screen offers a stylish, sleek look with its crystal-clear glass fiber exterior and clean lines, as stated by LG.
