It is powered by a 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800  processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, and 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. As per LG, the display found in the G Flex is the world’s largest Plastic OLED (POLED) display developed and mass produced specifically for this smartphones. The ultra-thin, ultra-light flexible POLED display and curved OLED panel are built on plastic substrates instead of glass, giving LG G Flex its unique shape and durability. Despite its thin form, the LG G Flex battery has a capacity of 3,500mAh, enough power for more than a full day of use.

For connectivity options, the LG G Flex has Blue Tooth 4.0, USB 3.0, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), and NFC.

LG G Flex also features the Rear Key first introduced in the LG G2 smartphone. Devoid of any buttons on the sides, there is less chance of accidentally powering off the phone and the convenience of using one’s index finger to adjust the volume when conversing is maintained.

Compared to Samsung’s Galaxy Round curved smartphones, which is curved from side to side, the G Flex is curved from top-to bottom, and LG calls it vertically curved. The curved design also offers a more reassuring grip and fits more comfortably in one’s back pocket. What’s more, in landscape mode, the display offers an IMAX-like experience, with the result being the most comfortable viewing angle for watching videos or playing games.

Commenting on the announcement of price and availability, Mr. Soon Kwon, M.D., LG India said“Curved flexible displays are a groundbreaking technology that enhances consumers’ viewing experience by many degrees. LG’s latest offering G Flex combines innovation and technology along with sleek, curved design that not only delivers a more comfortable grip and fit, but offers better voice and sound quality. G Flex represents a new era in the smartphone space where curved and flexible displays are no longer a sci-fi fantasy.”

The LG G Flex is the most expensive smartphone launched in India. It will be very interesting to see how many people buy this smartphone with curved dispaly at such a whopping price. But India is a crazy and very big country, every product if it performs well, sells here. Few years ago, who had imagined that the luxury cars like Audi,BMW,Mercedes and Jaguar would be smash hit in India! People are passionate about possessing the latest and trendy gadgets and there is no dearth of rich people in India.
