The upcoming LG G3 smartphone, which is set to launch on 27th May, is going to encompass solid specifications as per various rumors especially of the famed tipster evileaks. One thing is sure that the soon to be launched premium LG G3 will pose serious challenges to various flagship devices, which have been launched recently.
As per various rumors going around the techworld, the LG G3 is expected to come with following features :
- 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution
- Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor
- 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage
- 13-megapixel Sony IMX 214 Exmor RS sensor with Optical Image Stabiliser
- 5MP or 8MP Front Shooter

The success of LG G3 will depend upon its price especially in India where Samsung brand is quite popular. In order to give tough competition to Galaxy S5, which is readily available now for Rs. 41,875 on flipkart despite the fact that its official price is Rs. 51,500, LG will have to position its G3 in an attractive price range. The other competitior of LG G3 would be the recently launched HTC ONE M8, which is available for Rs.50,000.
In the above scenario, to become giant killer, the LG G3 price should be very competitve and if it is priced aggressively then the summer of 2014 will become very hot for flagship smartphones especially in India.
Let us see whether LG will disclose the price on 27th May or close on the heels of its availability, which is also speculated to sometimes in June.
