About our question of launch of Optimus G Pro, Mr. Gujral did not give us any specific time frame for launch of this smartphone in India, but informed that this would arrive in India in due course of time. He was very optimsitic about success of Optimus G Pro also whenever the same is launched in India. He emphasised that Optimus G Pro  is powered by a  strong 3140 mAh battery, unlike other flagship smartphones of  their competitors, and this would be one of the many plus point of this device.

The Optimus G Pro is an impressive device with a 5.5 inch IPS screen that has a pixel density of around 401 pixels per inch and can play 1080p videos. It is powered by a 1.7 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and sports 2GB of RAM. Other impressive features include an upgraded 13 megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and 2.1-inch front-facing camera, 32GB of internal storage, and  further expandable up to 64GB, via micro-SD card. This smartphone is expected to be in the range of Rs. 40K, when it is launched in India, keeping in view of the fact that it will face competition from Samsung’s Galaxy S4, which is going to be launched in India on 26th April.

Mr. Amit Gujral concluded the conversation by telling us that LG is poised to achieve good growth in mobile business also and due to their innovative and impressive smartphones, the customers are reposing faith in their products. Although they have small market share so far as far as smartphones are concerned, but they are quite confident that they would grow rapidly in the near future, and Optimus range of smartphones would be one of  the driving force.
