South Korean mobile carrier LG Uplus has announced that they are the first cellular carrier in the world to deploy uplink 2 carrier aggregation technology (UL 2CC CA) on a commercial network. UL 2CC CA is LTE-Advanced Pro version eRAN11.1 and will give users vastly improved uplink data rate of up to 108 Mbps, which will enable users to upload files much faster on their mobile devices.
