Elitegroup Computer System (ECS) based in Taiwan has launched today its latest miniscule PC – LIVA X, which is a fan-less design having zero noise and power saving feature small-size computer. The LIVA X is claimed to consumes 15 Watt power which is 1/10 of the traditional PCs consume today. The computer is so small that one can carry it anywhere and can fit in large pocket of a coat and trouser. It has dimensions of 135x83x40mm.
The LIVA X comes in two versions – equipped with 32GB eMMC storage and 2GB DDR3L for MRP of INR 14,900 with the latest Windows 8.1 and BING OS (optional) On the other hand, the same variant with same specifications but without OS for MRP of INR 11,900. These variants are driven by Intel new Bay Trail-M SOC 22nm processor (64-bit dual core 2.25 GHz processor). These PC have unique feature as they support Dual Display, which means that two displays can be controlled with one CPU. One can switch the operations from one display to another easily and effortlessly.
The LIVA X can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free once it will be available. The LIVA X supports USB 3.0 port, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth wireless connection technology, and storage capacity can be upgraded via mSATA SSD. With the native VESA mount, you can place the LIVA X practically anywhere – behind displays, monitors and TVs. This not only save space, but it’s also the easiest way to create a “cable-free” environment.
The LIVA X range of mini PC will be sold online by Flipkrt and Amazon India. However, ECS would be launching more mini PC variants by next month to be sold via conventional retail partners.
