Indian cellphone maker Micromax appears to be on releasing spree. They have been releasing one product after another. Only last week, they have announced launch of A84 Superfone Elite for Rs. 9,999. The company is now ready to launch another smartphone Micromax A90, which will come with a 4.3″ inch Super AMOLED screen. It is expected that this smartphone will carry a price tag of Rs. 12,999, and will be launched in an event on 17th August, 2012.
Micromax A90 will feature 1 GHz processor, dual-SIM support, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, and Android 4.0. This smartphone will have following salient features :
- 4.3″ inch Super AMOLED
- Android 4.0 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich)
- 1 GHz processor
- 8 MP camera with flash, 0.3 MP front-facing camera
- 512 MB RAM (expandable through MicroSD up to 32 GB)
- 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro USB
- 1600 mAh battery
As per reports, Micromax is organising an event in New Delhi on 17th August, 2012 where besides above phone, the company is expected to launch its Micromax A100 and Micromax A84 Superfone Elite. Micromax A 100 will be a 5-inch smartphone that will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and and compete with Spice Stellar Horizon. The other features of this smartphone include 854x480p resolution, 2000 mAh battery, a 5 megapixel camera, dual-SIM connectivity and 4GB of internal storage. Micromax A 84 Superfone Elite features 1GHz processor and a 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Both these devices are priced at Rs. 9,999. Micromax has become very aggressive in introducing various models of smartphones and want to give tough challenge for entry-level smartphones of leading cellphone makers like Samsung, HTC and LG etc.
