Indian handsets maker Micromax has expanded its Canvas Doodle portfolio and launched today the Canvas Doodle 3 at Rs. 8,500. The Canvas Doodle 3 will be available from 25th April in Blazing Blue and Pristine White colors. To make the offer more attractive and for enjoying the movies on Canvas Doodle 3 which has a display of 6 inches, this phablet comes with BigFlix subscription which will provide unlimited movies to users for 6 months. The Canvas Doodle 3 is the successor to the Canvas Doodle 2, which was launched in August 2013.
The Canvas Doodle 3 features a 6-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It is packed with a 2500 mAh battery, which is claimed to offer talk time of upto 9 hours. This phablet supports Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM), and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The Canvas Doodle 3 offers 3G support apart from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS etc.
The Canvas Doodle 3 comes with pre-loaded apps like Kingsoft Office that can help users to create and edit documents on the go; Opera Mini Browser for optimal web browsing, and Games such as Marble, Rope Cut, Jelly Jumper; M!live to download unlimited Bollywood, Regional videos, music, wallpapers, mobile games and applications; Getit, a simple intuitive guide to search your place of destination such as restaurants, ATMs, movie theatres etc.
The Canvas Doodle 3 also comes with magnetic flip-cover, which has a window that lets you check the date and time conveniently.
