India’s leading handsets manufacturer,Micromax has expanded further its portfolio of highly successful Canvas range of smartphones and officially launched today its latest Canvas Turbo 250. This is the first smartphone from the stable of Micromax, which has full HD display. The Canvas Turbo phablet sports a 5” sharp FHD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) power saving display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution.
The Turbo A250 is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core processor and a 2GB RAM, and comes with inbuilt storage of 16GB RAM. This device is packed with a 2000 mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean), which can easily be upgraded through FOTA. This smartphone is equipped with 13MP auto-focus rear camera and 5MP fixed focus camera on the front.
The Canvas Turbo comes with a unique ‘Camerazzi’ camera which offers a host of innovative features including 360 degree panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser. The Camera offers a 360 degree panorama feature for the first time on a Micromax smartphone. Users can capture and get creative with the Cinemagraph, which helps users to animate still photographs (.GIF). The Object Eraser feature allows users to erase unwanted objects from still pictures that are shot with the smartphone.
The Canvas Turbo A250 also has host of other features like BBM & Hike for Instant Messaging, Spuul to Watch Free Movies, Kingsoft Office to read, write and edit attachments On-the-Go, M!Security for Anti-theft I Anti-Virus protection, M!Unlock to access unique “Blow to Unlock” feature, M!Live portal to download unlimited Games, Videos, Wallpapers & Music, Opera Mini browser for optimal net surfing, Game-hub to Download HD I Premium Games. The phone supports Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi.

The price of the Canvas Turbo A250 is Rs. 19,990 (MOP). This will be available in two colors (white and blue) across all leading retail outlets in India from October 26, 2013.
