Micromax has expanded its portfolio of Canvas Juice series having powerful batteries by launching two new smartphones, the Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+. Both the devices are packed with massive and ultra-long lasting 4000 mAh batteries. The Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ have almsot same specifications except the screen size and internal storage. The Canvas Juice 3 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the other hand, Canvas Juice 3+ flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display which is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Canvas Juice 3 is priced at Rs 8,999, while the Canvas Juice 3+ will be available by September end. Micromax has not revealed the price of the latter variant.
The Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+are driven by 1.3GHz quad core processor and a 2GB DDR3 RAM. These phones run on Android Lollipop 5.1 and Lollipop 5.0 OS, respectively. The Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ come with 8GB ROM and 16GB ROM respectively and 4.79GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB.
Both the smartphones are equipped with 8MP Auto Focus rear camera and 5MP FF front camera.
The Canvas Juice 3 and 3+ come with a pair of 96dB speakers with Cirrus logic Wolfson stereo DAC which acording to Micromax, deliver 3 time louder sound than the Canvas Juice 2. These phones are also claimed to offer talk time of 12 hours in 2G, 8 hours in 3G and 500 hours standby time.
