Moto G smartphone which was launched exclusively on flipkart.com on 5th February, and which is selling like hot cakes in Indias, has been upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat OS. While launching the Moto G, Motorola had promised that this smartphone would be upgraded to the latest Android version in few days and they have kept their word. Moto G was launched in India with stock Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The latest version of Android KitKat 4.4.2 has new features which includes an improved phone dialer, new photo editing options in the Gallery app, the ability to print documents and photos, and more.
It is very easy to install the latest version of Android KitKat version 4.4.2 on your Moto G. There is no charge for this upgrade other than the usual data connection charges. 1. Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
2. Select “About phone”
3. Select “System updates”
4. Select “Download”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install”
5. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically
