With the onset of monsoon in India, it is raining smartphones in India. It appears that every significant vendor of mobile phones want to add smartphones to their portfolio to remain in limelight. Motorola has announced launch of its two smartphones – Motorola Razr Maxx and Motorola Razr V.
The most distinctive feature of Motorola Razr Maxx is its huge 3,300 mAh battery inside, which according to the company gives 17.6 hours of talk-time on a single charge, and can handle even the most demanding lifestyle. Motorola Razr Maxx also features a hyper-vibrant 4.3″ inch Super AMOLED Advanced display and is just 8.99 mm thick. The smartphone runs on Android 2.3 and is expected to get an upgrade to Android 4.0 soon. The phone is equipped with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 31,590, and will go on sale from June 21, 2012.

Motorola Razr V is the first smartphone of Motorola Mobility, which is on latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. This phone is just 8.35 mm thin and equipped with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. This handset will be available in charcoal, glacier white and rebel pink color options. The company has not revealed the price of this handset and as is the tradition, the price will be announced close on the heels of its availability, which is expected to be in Q3 of 2012.
Both the new Motorola devices come with a splash-guard coating and Gorilla Glass for enhanced durability.
