Dell Technologies today launched the new Dell XPS 14 and Dell XPS 16 in India. The new XPS 14 and XPS 16 are Dell’s thinnest laptops measuring just 14.6mm and weighing only 1.36kg (XPS 14) and 1.65kg (XPS 16), respectively. Both XPS 14 and 16 are lighter and more portable than its previous generations.
These laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 3 series processors. The thermal system has been completely redesigned with the largest and thinnest fans yet, up to 61% larger, delivering improved airflow, an 8-degree cooler base and 36% quieter operation for a consistently cooler, quieter experience. They offer the best battery life in the industry, delivering up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming or 40+ hours of local video playback. These processors also power Copilot+ PC experiences, enabling faster image editing, smooth video playback and responsive AI-ready workflows.
Configurations up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, paired with 32GB LPDDR5X memory, enable faster responsiveness, and efficient power use. Dell XPS 14 and 16 are the first laptops on the market with the highest 900 Wh/L energy-density batteries delivering longer runtime, slimmer designs.
The XPS 14 and 16 feature InfinityEdge displays. Both laptops offer a choice between a power-efficient 2K LCD for longer runtime or a cinematic 2.8K or 3.2K Tandem OLED touch display for vivid visuals with a wider colour range. The new 2K displays consume up to 15% less power, while Tandem OLED reduces power usage by up to 30% compared to previous generations, with Eyesafe technology ensuring visual comfort without compromising colour accuracy.
These laptops come with a hidden 10W quad-speaker system to deliver an immersive 360-degree spatial sound experience. A first-to-market ultra-narrow camera optical design reduces the footprint of the 8MP/4K webcam module without compromising quality, supporting narrower bezels and helping enable the ultra-thin overall form factor, while the improved sensor and 1080p resolution ensure sharp crisp video calls.
