Brand Nothing has just introduced Nothing Phone (2a) in India. The Phone (2a) embodies the first-ever internal smartphone design concept that was created all the way back in 2020. By placing the cameras inside the NFC coil, Nothing has created a new product icon: the eyes. Phone (2a) features an industry-first with its 90° angle unibody cover wrapping around the edges to create a new dimension and perspective to Nothing’s design, while seamlessly integrating the dual camera module. The unique camera ‘bump’ also plays a role in stabilising the phone when it’s lying flat on a surface as well as helping minimise finger obstructions when taking a picture.
On the back of the phone, Phone (2a) also has the iconic Glyph Interface. On the hrdware front, the Phone (2a) sports a 6.7-inch (2412×1084 pixels) FHD+ OLED flexible AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Phone (2a) features the thinnest bezels in Nothing’s smartphone line-up, measuring just 2.1 mm symmetrically on all four sides of the screen. This achievement results in an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.65%. This phone is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro 4nm processor with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. This phone comes in three variants of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB / 512GB storage with RAM Boost Technology. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with ) supports 45W Fast Charging, which can charge 50% of power in just 20 minutes.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 50MP primary camera with f/1.88 aperture, OIS and supported by 50MP 114° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, this phone has 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
This phone runs on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 on top and has in-display optical fingerprint sensor. This phone offers connectivity options of 5G SA/NSA (13 bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO.
