Established in 2016 and Headquartered in Noida, OKWU has launched today its second smartphone known as Omicron in mid-segment. This is the second smartphone from the house of OKWU after their first smartphone, OKWU Pi. OKWU Omicron is priced Rs. 10,499.
The Omicron sports a 5.5 inch FHD display with resolution of 480 pixel per inch and comes with fingerprint sensor on the back with an unlock time of 0.1 seconds. This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. This phone boasts of Dual SIM 4G VoLTE support. It has body of CNC made metal which is sleek and good looking.

OKWU smartphones will be manufactured and assembled in Shenzhen, China and the company plans to have their own assembly unit in India ahead. The company is also in talks with Amity University for developing Research and Development facility as stated by the company in its statement.
